GoDigital Dental Laboratory Price List:
How our pricing works
At GoDigital Dental, our appliance pricing reflects the complete service we provide. While we are committed to manufacturing high-quality appliances, we also offer dedicated support and education to all our clients. We sincerely hope our customers see that our pricing represents the value of this comprehensive approach.
When GoDigital Dental was in its early days, we structured our price list based on the experience and knowledge of the technicians who would be carrying out the work and what they were bringing to the lab in order for GoDigital to be the best dental lab in the East Midlands. We then looked at the cost of investment in the latest technology they would need to provide high-quality aesthetics, precise fit, ongoing education, and the tailored support our busy clients rely on.

All of our full-contour zirconia work is milled to the highest precision and is suitable for all single bridge and implant cases, as well as full-arch implant cases. We use 3Y zirconia, as it has a natural gradient of colour, translucency and strength, and can be provided in the full Vita classic shade range.
We then use the Miyo nano-ceramic system for that added characterisation, translucency and effects, or we can include a buccal layer for that extra-special bespoke touch. If we do use a buccal layer, we make a very small cut back on the buccal face of the milled restoration and overlay the new layer in a traditional manner to create that extra-special, tailored restoration.
We also use Ivoclar Emax to create restorations, which is still one of the most requested materials due to its natural translucency coupled with strength.
As well as our full-contour ceramic restorations, we still provide the traditional option of metal-bonded work, and on the odd occasion, we can provide full-contour gold crowns of various gold content.
- Implant restorations and All-on-4 cases
-
We provide restorations for all implant systems from Straumann, Nobel Biocare and Southern to the lesser-used systems such as Ankylos and Bredent.
All of the restorations are milled in 3Y zirconia for strength and have fantastic translucencies, providing a perfect match with the existing dentition or a fresh start for full mouth rehabilitation for the patient.
- Implant Planning
-
We don’t just manufacture implant restorations; we help you to plan where to place them, too. We utilise RealGUIDE Universal Open System software, which enables us to plan all implant systems rather than being tied to just one type.
For us to plan your implant cases, we would need a CBCT scan, an intraoral scan, and the implant system you wish us to plan for. All implant planning cases must be signed off by a registered dental practitioner before we manufacture the stent. When the case has been accepted and signed off by the dentist, we will provide a detailed plan and, in most cases, can provide the details for the drill guide kit required. A pilot guide or fully-guided stent can then be printed and shipped ready for the day of placement.
- Shade Taking
-
For all of our local practices and patients who are able to travel to our lab, we provide an in-house shade-taking service to help us determine the most accurate shade for the final restoration. We understand this isn’t always possible, so we have developed a detailed document to help you obtain the best possible shade and take the necessary photos in your dental practice.

What affects the price of restorations?
Type of restoration
The restoration could be a crown, bridge, dental implant, veneer or all-on-X. Different types of restorations involve varying levels of complexity, materials, and technical skill, all of which influence pricing.
A diagnostic wax-up may seem like a simple stage of treatment planning, but it follows the same CAD process as an Emax, Zirconia, or other ceramic restoration. The design and precision required are just as detailed to ensure an accurate representation of the final outcome.
Direct composite cases can also be extremely time-consuming. Because these restorations are designed for direct intraoral use, they must be digitally refined to an extremely high standard before production. Achieving the perfect fit and finish often requires multiple adjustments to reach the desired level of accuracy.
Each restoration type, whether a crown, bridge, denture, diagnostic wax-up, or direct composite, requires its own process, materials, and expertise. These factors together determine the overall price of the restoration.
Materials used
The materials used in each restoration affect both the process and the cost. Different materials require different techniques, equipment, and amounts of time to complete, which is reflected in the price and turnaround time.
Our laboratory works with several types of all-ceramic materials, mainly Zirconia and Ivoclar Emax. Both produce high-quality, natural-looking results, but they differ in how they are made and handled. Zirconia can be milled either wet or dry, and needs careful handling because it is soft and can easily fracture or distort, which can make Zirconia restorations take a little longer than Emax.
Metal-bonded restorations are made using a different process that takes more time than all-ceramic work. Because of this, they are priced higher and require a set time frame for completion. There is no extra charge for the metal in non-precious bonded cases, but for precious and semi-precious metals, an additional cost is added based on the current price of gold when the case is ordered.
The same system applies to full gold crowns and inlays. We charge a standard fee for the work itself, and the cost of gold is added separately according to the exact weight used. This cost is kept to an absolute minimum, and no handling fee is added.
Case complexity
Some cases can be very time-consuming for both the laboratory and the practice from the very beginning. Planning alone can take several weeks, or even months, especially if there are delays while waiting for patient approval. Time is one of the most valuable aspects of any case, so we aim to ensure each stage runs smoothly to keep costs effective for everyone.
Many complex cases involve implants, and the cost of restoring these can vary depending on the implant system used. Some well-established alternative suppliers also provide verified restorative components, which we can offer as more cost-effective options where suitable.
For crown and bridge work, the overall cost depends on the materials chosen and the level of planning you decide to do beforehand. Some cases may go straight to final restoration. In contrast, others may include diagnostic wax-ups, shade matching at the lab, online consultations, or several adjustments to achieve the best possible result.
In cases where multiple design changes are requested, we recommend arranging a short online meeting to review the details together. After this stage, any further adjustments requested will include an additional charge for technician time.
Turnaround time
Our standard turnaround time is 10 working days in the laboratory. This allows us to complete each case to the highest standard and ensure consistent quality.
If you need a faster turnaround, we offer an express service at an additional cost. We ask that you call ahead to book this in advance so we can plan our workflow and confirm availability.
We always do our best to accommodate urgent requests, but there are certain times of the year when our workload reaches full capacity. During these periods, express cases may need to be scheduled carefully to avoid delays and maintain quality standards.
Additional services
Some cases benefit from additional services that help achieve the best possible result. These include options such as in-lab shade matching and advanced digital design, both of which can affect the overall price.
Our shade matching service is charged at a fixed cost and includes two visits to the laboratory with our experienced ceramic team. The first visit allows us to take the shade accurately and discuss the patient’s expectations. The second visit is used to confirm that the shade matches perfectly and that the patient is happy with the result before the restoration is tried in at the practice and fitted permanently.
Digital design services can also be included where required. These allow for detailed visual planning and can help refine the outcome before production, especially in complex or aesthetic cases.

Dental Laboratory Price List FAQs
Do you provide a published dental lab price list?
We do not publish a standard dental laboratory price list, as our services and materials can vary depending on each case. To make sure you receive accurate and up-to-date information, we recommend requesting a basic price list directly from us. This allows us to share the most relevant details for your specific requirements and answer any questions you may have about materials or turnaround times.
For larger or more complex cases, we can provide a detailed quotation tailored to your needs. This personalised approach ensures clear pricing, accuracy, and value, helping us deliver the highest quality service for every client and every restoration.
How can I get a quote if there’s no published dental lab price list?
The best way to get accurate and up-to-date pricing is to call the laboratory directly. For larger or more complex cases with multiple elements, it is recommended to speak with Hannah, our Operations Manager, or Katy, our Customer Services Director. They can provide detailed guidance, answer any questions you have, and ensure your quotation reflects the full scope of the case.
For simpler cases, you can complete the form below with your case details. Please include as much information as possible, such as materials, number of units, and implant systems, so we can provide an accurate and tailored quotation.
Do you offer discounts?
At GDD, we do not offer discounts. Our pricing reflects the bespoke nature of our service, including the time and expertise spent planning each case, the high level of communication with our dentists, and the support we provide throughout the process. We also invest continuously in the latest technology and ongoing training to maintain exceptional standards, ensuring that each restoration meets our strict quality requirements.
We believe in transparent pricing and consistent value. Each year, we review our prices to ensure they remain fair and accurately reflect the level of care, skill, and service we provide to both patients and clinicians.
Can I get a quote for multiple cases?
We can prepare quotations for multiple cases at the same time, which makes things easier for busy dental practices. To provide accurate pricing, we ask that you give us as much information as possible about each case. This can include pre-op scans, photos, or any other relevant details. It also helps if you let us know any specific materials or techniques you prefer, so we can tailor the quotation accordingly.
Providing this information helps us ensure that the quotation is correct and that we recommend the most suitable product or appliance for each situation. By doing this, we can give you clear, reliable pricing while helping you plan each case efficiently.
What is your turnaround time?
To produce the highest quality restorations, we ask for 10 working days in the laboratory. This does not include shipping time. While we always aim to complete cases as quickly as possible, we prefer not to over-promise and risk delaying the final product. Taking the full 10 days ensures that each restoration meets our strict standards and is carefully checked before it leaves the lab.
If you need a case completed more quickly, we recommend calling ahead to book it in. This allows us to plan our workflow and create the capacity needed to accommodate your urgent request without compromising quality.
Are there extra costs for multiple adjustments?
Additional adjustments to a restoration can incur extra charges. While we aim to get each case as close to perfect as possible during the initial design and planning stages, some cases may require further refinements once you or the patient have reviewed them. Each adjustment takes additional technician time, which is reflected in the pricing.
For complex or aesthetic cases, we recommend discussing potential adjustments in advance and arranging an online meeting if needed. This helps to identify and resolve any issues efficiently. By planning ahead, we can keep additional costs reasonable while ensuring the final restoration meets the highest standards.
How can you support me with digital workflows?
We support your practice and chair time by providing on-the-spot digital case reviews. This allows us to assess your scan in real time and confirm that all the vital information has been captured. We can take accurate measurements to help visualise occlusal, buccal, labial, or interstitial space, which can be particularly useful when prepping in difficult areas where space is limited.
We can also clean and tidy scan data, and in some cases, adjust the occlusal record. Additionally, we can advise on correct prep reduction for material selection and guide you on the parameters required for working with digital materials. These services are case-specific and cannot be guaranteed for every situation.
How do I submit a case for a quote instead of using a dental lab price list?
You can submit your case through our Dentist Portal by uploading pre-op scans, prepped scan data, and all relevant case details. We will review the information and provide a quotation based on your request. Providing clear photos or notes about materials and preferences can also help us give a more precise estimate. Alternatively, you can send the scan data via your usual portal and contact us by WhatsApp or email.
To give you the most accurate pricing, please provide as much information as possible. In some cases, a short Zoom or phone call can help clarify details, and we are happy to work in a way that fits your busy schedule.
Are your dental technicians certified?
Yes, all of our dental technicians are fully registered with the General Dental Council (GDC). This ensures they meet the professional standards required to work safely and effectively within a dental laboratory setting. They also have extensive experience across a wide range of restorations.
Our technicians follow strict quality control procedures on every case to maintain high standards and consistent results. They receive ongoing training and updates on the latest techniques and materials, which allows them to deliver reliable, precise restorations. This combination of certification, experience, and continuous professional development ensures that every restoration leaving our lab meets both clinical and aesthetic expectations.
Can you handle complex or custom cases that may not appear on a standard dental lab price list?
Yes, our price list only includes the most commonly requested restorations and appliances to keep it simple and easy to use. We handle a wide range of dental restorations and appliances, both small and large, including complex or custom cases that may not be listed. Each case is carefully reviewed to ensure the correct approach and materials are recommended for the best outcome.
For these cases, we encourage clients and potential clients to contact Katy, our Customer Services Director, or Hannah, our Operations Manager. They can provide additional pricing information or a bespoke quote tailored to the specific requirements of each case, ensuring accurate and fair pricing.
